Cosmetic Surgery With
Dr Georgina Konrat
Dr Georgina Konrat graduated from Sydney University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. Following basic general surgical training, Dr Konrat completed further surgical training in Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine with the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine (ACCSM), graduating in 2007.
Aside from her work in cosmetic surgery, Dr Konrat is a registered surgical preceptor for the training and supervision of doctors studying towards their fellowship in cosmetic surgery. Dr Konrat continues to undergo professional development in cosmetic surgery each year, attending and presenting at national and international conferences and participating in live surgery workshops in accordance with ACCSM and national requirements.
Dr Konrat consults from Bondi Junction and works with accredited day-hospital settings relevant to her current scope of practice. These arrangements form part of her broader operative planning and patient care pathway.
Dr Konrat has a special interest in intimate female surgery which comprises monsplasty, liposuction mons pubis, clitoral hoodplasty, DOVE labiaplasty, perineoplasty, and birth injury scar revision. She is the inventor of the labiaplasty procedure known commonly as DOVE Labiaplasty. She continues to be actively involved in research and development in the area of female cosmetic medicine and surgery.
Dr Konrat also performs minor procedures such as upper eyelid blepharoplasty, otoplasty, nipple reduction, and correction of benign inverted nipple surgery.

Important Things to Know
Before Booking
You must have a referral from a GP in order to book your consultation. There are no Medicare rebates with any cosmetic surgery procedures.
You are required to have two consultations. One of these consultations must be in person. The other consultation can be conducted virtually by video.
After the second consultation with the doctor, you will be able to sign your Consent for Surgery form. Once you have had your second consultation, there is a mandatory cooling-off period of 7 days before you can arrange or undertake surgery.
