Process

A GP referral is required. Two consultations (at least one in person) are needed before surgery. Mandatory 7-day cooling-off period applies.

The Day of Surgery
Performed under local anaesthesia as a day procedure. A small amount of tissue is removed from the nipple using precise surgical techniques. Takes approximately 30 minutes to one hour.

A dressing is applied after the procedure to protect the area during healing. Most patients return to normal activities within a few days.
